Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, and scripts that collect information about how the site is used. Some are strictly necessary for the site to work; others support analytics or marketing.

This portfolio site is designed to use only what is needed to operate securely and, when enabled, privacy-oriented analytics. We do not use advertising, remarketing, or social tracking cookies.

The site and its host (Netlify) may set or rely on technical cookies or equivalent mechanisms that are necessary for:

• delivering pages over HTTPS and balancing traffic;
• security, fraud prevention, and network integrity;
• basic session or infrastructure functions required by the host.

These technologies are used to provide the service you request. They do not require a consent banner under applicable cookie rules when they are strictly necessary.

We intend to enable Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure aggregated traffic (page views, referrers, approximate location, and similar statistics). Cloudflare describes this product as not using cookies or localStorage to track individuals, and as not fingerprinting visitors for advertising. Data is collected via a lightweight beacon script when that script is installed on the site.

Until the beacon is added, analytics described here are planned rather than active. Once enabled, the same description applies without requiring a separate marketing-style cookie wall, because the tool is not used for profiling or advertising. We do not display a cookie consent banner on this site while we only use strictly necessary technical technologies and, when activated, privacy-oriented Cloudflare Web Analytics without marketing or profiling cookies. If we later introduce non-essential cookies or trackers that require consent under Italian and EU rules, we will update this policy and implement an appropriate consent mechanism before those tools run.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking all cookies may affect how some websites function. Help links for common browsers are available from each vendor (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, and others).
